Achieve Driving School Logan – About Us
Achieve Driving School Logan is owned and operated by Doug Bennett.
Having started driving way back in the 1970’s, Doug has road experience with driving Automatic and manual cars, Motorbikes and trucks.
He has instructor experience dating back to 2007. As of April 2016 he has helped over 1000 of his students gain their drivers licences.
He has taught people from all ages to get their drivers licence, including immigrants who are challenged with coming to a new country and having to learn not only the new road conditions but also the language. He has also helped what he terms as “late starters” in getting their licences in their twilight years.
He has a passion for helping people to gain the independence and change in lifestyle associated with the freedom they get from being able to drive.
He focuses on the learner and states that he “teaches them to drive” not just “teaches them to pass the test”. He states that a “better driver” is a “safer driver”. So his lessons are always about learning the techniques and gaining the skills, and not just about passing the test.
